DEAL NETWORK DEVELOPMENT LEADER - HOME IMPROVEMENT LENDING

Overview:
Bayview Asset Management is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit. The Emerging Strategies Lending Products segment is a business line for direct-to-consumer lending efforts, focused on homeowners. The team will create innovative solutions that will raise awareness of available financial options and provide products to improve the financial well-being of consumers. Home Improvement Lending is a new start-up business within the Emerging Strategies Lending Products segment, focused on providing financing solutions in the home improvement space through dealer networks and directly to consumers.

In our effort to stand up our Home Improvement Lending platform, we are seeking an experienced professional to help us build out our lending platform by growing our network of dealers. Ideal candidate should have robust experience in the consumer lending space, and the capabilities to solicit, build and maintain professional relationships with our dealers and prospects. To help stand up our Home Improvement Lending business, this person will work with Product, Engineering, internal/external stakeholders and leaders to grow our dealer base and deliver solutions.

As a remote-first organization, the Home Improvement Lending group will be geographically distributed across the US – this role is fully remote anywhere in the United States and can also take advantage of Bayview’s offices in New York City, NY or Coral Gables, FL. Compensation range $140-160K base pay, with meaningful bonus / upside potential negotiable based on experience and location. Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, location and key skills.
Responsibilities:
The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The employee will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities as requested. Job duties may change as required by the needs of the company.

  • Develop and implement dealer distribution strategy, dealer network development and partnership strategies to grow the business and drive origination volumes.
  • Develop team to support dealer sales, onboarding, training, sales to end-users, support, and dealer network growth.
  • Build a split-pay program with national distributors and instant prescreen with lead aggregators.
  • Work with dealer network development team to create market development plans and goals, and strategic plan to convert prospects into activated dealers using our financing.
  • Monitor individual CSR activation levels and create a nurture track through incentives.
  • Establish and measure KPIs and solicit feedback from our dealer network to drive improvements to product offerings, services, platform capabilities and engagement model.
  • Build core relationships with industry brokers/influencers to drive network growth.
  • Drive effective cross-functional teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitments across multiple disparate groups, vendors, and partners.
  • Design partnership strategies with OEMs and Distributors including custom marketing materials and GTM strategy with agreed upon metrics for success and bi-weekly check-ins to review reporting.
  • Hunt new platform partnerships that will allow us to integrate our financing solutions.
  • Negotiate and close deals with the major PE groups that rollup contractors and issue financing RFPs.
  • Respond and win financing RFPs for OEMs that offer home improvement products.
  • Adhere to the Company’s Compliance Standards.
  • Ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  • 50% domestic travel is expected.

Qualifications:

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

  • Proven history of client relationship development and sales execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with clients, internal teams, and external vendors and partners.
  • Analytical skillset to collect, analyze, communicate, and action insights based on factual data and insights.
  • Mandatory experience in consumer lending space.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 7-10 years of account management and sales experience.
  • 5+ year of experience in consumer lending space.
