Deal Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Deal Operations Analyst to join our expanding Worldwide Deal Desk team. This role will work directly with senior management to ensure that both Field Sales and the Channel Sales organizations are supported throughout the deal life cycle. An ideal candidate will have a love of technology and a desire to work in a role that is continuously evolving as our organization grows.

In this role, you will facilitate the creation of non-standard and complex deals. You will provide assistance to stakeholders in the structuring and documentation of complex deals. As a Deal Operations Analyst, you’ll need to be passionate and have the ability to understand complex problems and provide solutions that limit risk while ensuring a competitive advantage to our sales teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyzing pricing and discounting trends and making recommendations to the business based on findings from your analysis
  • Creating dashboards in SFDC and/or Tableau and leading weekly meetings based on product performance
  • Quickly learn and master the quoting process within SFDC & CPQ system to assist sales reps with quoting inquiries
  • Work cross functionally with the CPQ, Pricing and Packaging, and Deal Structuring Team to support the Sales Department
  • Respond to Sales inquiries timely (quote requests, status updates, pricing details)
  • Support sales teams throughout complete sales cycle to meet customer needs
  • Be a ‘Subject Matter Expert’ for new Go-To-Market strategies such as Cloud marketplace transactions, software only sales on alliance partner hardware & customer utility models

Experience you’ll need:

  • 2+ years of experience with Sales Ops, Channel Operations, Deal Desk, or Sales
  • Experience with a tiered sales channel and go to market strategy
  • Familiarity with financial or revenue recognition principles and contracting guidelines
  • Experience in a high volume / multi transactional environment
  • Experience embracing new technology, applications, and solutions
  • Experience with the following tools SFDC, CPQ

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US Pay Range
$76,000—$114,000 USD
