Job description

We are looking for a creative and proactive Compliance Training Manager to identify, report on compliance training needs and in accordance with group training initiatives write, design, develop and deliver training solutions Company wide. This position reports to the deputy CCO’s team and is global in scope. The desired candidate will have a track record of designing and implementing Compliance training in global organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement effective financial crime and sanctions compliance training programs tailored to the needs of different countries / jurisdictions / departments and roles etc. within the organization. 

  • Collaborate with Compliance Officers to identify and report upon risk-based compliance training needs for all impacted stakeholders company wide. 

  • Keep up with ongoing changes in regulations, regulatory and legal requirements, and best practices to ensure training content remains current and relevant. 

  • Support Compliance Officers in communicating changes in regulations and policies to relevant stakeholders and facilitate understanding at all levels of the organization. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance training activities, attendance, and assessment results. 

  • Ensure that training documentation meets regulatory standards and can withstand audit scrutiny. 

  • Own and manage the relationship with any training vendor, identify and drive implementation of any  tools needed for creating an effective and high quality training.

  • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key compliance metrics and training outcomes. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience within Banking / Fintech / financial services company, ideally within the Compliance and Regulatory area or equivalent work experience (Fintech/payments experience is highly regarded)

  • Experience in advisory/line-of-business compliance is a strong plus 

  • Experience with instructional design of training materials  

  • Strong and detailed knowledge of regulatory and financial crime and sanctions compliance processes.

  • Professional certificates/qualifications in compliance, AML/CFT, risk management, finance, and/or fintech are nice to have.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a knack for creating and implementing efficient training processes, ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, both independently and cross-functionally.

  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to articulate compliance, legal and regulatory obligations to various audiences.

  • Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, if needed.

  • Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude, a growth-mindset that enables creativity in thinking, management of changing priorities, and consistency in learning from others.
