We’re the Organic Social Team and our mission is to make Deel a household name and the most beloved B2B brand for consumers on social media. We’re looking for a creative self-starter with deep social expertise to join our team as a Senior Social Media Manager to manage the day-to-day strategy, content creation, and curation for our brand social channels. They will collaborate cross-functionally with the communications, product marketing, regional marketing, brand, events, and creative teams to align social strategies with broader marcomms initiatives and serve as a sounding board and informed captain for partners on what makes engaging social content.
We are seeking a highly driven, organized, and detail-oriented social media executive that has a capacity to both think and ‘do’. This is a hands-on role in an exciting, fast-paced global start-up work environment that requires an individual with strong strategic and creative vision, keen analytical chops, sharp copywriting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with many different teams.
The ideal candidate will have a social media background with excellent judgment to balance the interests and needs of a general consumer audience with the needs of the business. An ability to lead the strategy and execution for paid social boosting on our organic content across Meta, TikTok & Google and a deep experience in building YouTube channels are also important for this role. This job will require you to juggle many different kinds of short- and long-term projects across a range of Deel’s offerings. Above all, you must be a strategic connector of ideas and someone who has the passion, energy, and creative ambition to tell the story of how Deel can help businesses hire & manage their global talent pool.
This is a fully remote role, we are looking to balance out our team’s working hours by hiring in GMT time zones as the current team sits across ET & PT time zones.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage overall health and growth channel strategy and day-to-day content creation and curation and community engagement across Deel’s Instagram, TikTok & YouTube channels primarily
Manage monitoring and reporting on channel & individual campaign performance on a weekly/monthly/ quarterly basis to track success and pull insights to inform future campaigns
Work with key cross-functional partners (brand, comms and product, lifecycle and regional marketing) to build social strategies that support business priorities for product launches and announcements, lead the social strategy and content production for social-first tactics
Solid understanding of creators, and the HR/Business Leadership/Payroll Creator network, with experience managing creator partnerships/building influencer campaigns
Stay on top of cultural & design trends and write briefs to bring content ideas/series to life with our in-house creative partners, managing the creative feedback/editing process with internal and external creative stakeholders to create best-in-class social content
Be able to lightly edit video and still social content for quick-turn, reactive social content (in-app editing tools, CapCut, Figma, Photoshop, or other editing tools of your choice)
Write social copy for brand and executive social posts
Understanding of TikTok trends, audio, and intro clips optimized for engagement, knowledge of video formats that will perform well on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
Skills and Requirements:
Minimum 8-10 years of social media experience with an ability to design and execute high-level social strategy and both daily content and macro campaigns
Demonstrated ability to think innovatively - connecting the dots when others cannot. Able to make the leap from information to insight to creative execution and manage the process with multiple stakeholders.
Deep knowledge of social platforms and the ability to analyze, ideate, and iterate to find the right content mix and message to engage followers
Understanding and ability to manage paid boosting strategy for organic social content
Proven track record of creating content that gets shared and talked about.
Strong understanding of Sprout Social, Jira, Slack, Google Suite, and related workflows, familiarity with Figma needed for quick design edits
A storyteller and an innovative communicator who’s resourceful, scrappy, and eager to try new things
High tolerance for change, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must have excellent time management skills and be able to multitask to complete tasks at high volume
Ability to work with international partners in different time zones oftentimes asynchronously (cross-functional team mainly sits across the east and west coast of the US and Europe)
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; ability to communicate in a proactive & concise manner as work is done mostly over slack
Mastery of social media analytics

Experience working in a cross-functional marketing team in the B2B SaaS space; bonus points at a hyper-growth startup, HRTech, or FinTech industries
Worked at a very fast-growing startup
Successfully worked in a fully remote & globally distributed team
