Middleware Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Middleware Administrator / Engineer with deep technical expertise in IBM WebSphere, Red Hat JBoss, and Oracle WebLogic. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of middleware systems across production, development, and testing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer IBM WebSphere Application Server, JBoss EAP, and Oracle WebLogic on RedHat Linux / Windows
  • Install, configure, patch, and upgrade middleware infrastructure
  • Administer IBM MQ, Message Broker, and integration environments
  • Performance tuning and system troubleshooting
  • Configure and manage clusters and high-availability setups
  • Write and manage Shell scripts for automation
  • Work closely with developers and stakeholders for optimal deployment of middleware technologies
  • Support production systems in 24x7 environments

 

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8–10 years of IT experience in Middleware administration
  • Proven experience in IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, JBoss EAP
  • Strong Linux (RedHat) system admin skills
  • Experience with IBM MQ, Message Broker, and related tools
  • Familiar with Oracle / SQL Server databases
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking, monitoring tools, and proactive support measures
  • Experience in banking sector

 

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills):

  • IBM BPM, ODM
  • Experience with Microservices architecture
  • Java (J2EE) development background
  • Red Hat or IBM certifications

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong communication skills (English required, Arabic a plus)
  • Self-driven, team-oriented, and open to 24/7 operational support
