The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority.
Due to the cyclical nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.
Position Summary:
The Regional Finance Assistant is a member of the DCCC’s finance department, which is devoted to raising major donor contributions for the committee from individuals, as well as other entities depending on the region. A successful regional assistant will be organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative, and hard-working. The regional assistant will work closely with the region’s Finance Directors and Deputy Directors to execute logistics for fundraising events (virtually or in-person), create event briefing materials for principals, keep accurate department records, and ensure that contributions are processed correctly and that donors are thanked for their support in a timely manner.
