PowerBI Developer

Position Overview:
AFRL/RQ’s Data Accelerator Cell is seeking a talented and innovative Tableau/Power BI/Power Apps Developer to join our Application Development team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting AFRL/RQ’s enterprise-wide data strategy by designing and implementing dynamic data visualization and analytics solutions. Your expertise will help transform raw data into compelling visual stories that drive decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain advanced dashboards and data visualization tools using Tableau, Power BI, and Power Apps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and create analytics solutions that meet organizational objectives.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, insightful visualizations to support business and research operations.
  • Educate stakeholders at all levels on data visualization best practices, tool functionality, and new features.
  • Promote digital literacy by conducting training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations.
  • Support the ongoing development and execution of AFRL/RQ’s data strategy.
  • Proven experience with Tableau, Power BI, and Power Apps in a professional setting.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, dashboard design, and user experience principles.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and security principles is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in defense, government, or R&D environments.
  • Experience with additional tools or programming languages such as SQL, Python, or DAX.
