Job Overview

The PR Intern will assist the Public Relations and Communications team in executing strategic initiatives that amplify Delinea’s brand voice and industry presence. This role is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience in public relations, media outreach, and corporate communications while contributing to impactful campaigns.

This position is for Summer 2025 and will be Hybrid in the Boston Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Media Relations Support:

  • Monitor and track media coverage, industry news, and competitors to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Maintain and update media contact lists.

  • Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials.

• Content Development:

  • Collaborate on thought leadership pieces, blog posts, and social media content.

  • Help develop messaging for events, product launches, and campaigns.

• Event and Campaign Coordination:

  • Support PR efforts for webinars, conferences, and industry events.

  • Assist in coordinating interviews, press briefings, and media tours.

• Reporting and Analytics:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly PR reports to measure coverage, reach, and effectiveness of campaigns.

  • Analyze media mentions to determine sentiment and alignment with brand goals.

• Social media

  • Draft social media content for PR-related activities

• Administrative Tasks:

  • Provide general administrative support to the PR team, including organizing assets and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand-building.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Familiarity with social media platforms, PR tools, and analytics software is a plus.

• Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
