Overview Of Position
- We are looking for a highly organized individual, with a good technical understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications & Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) applications; has strong experience in leading teams on internal/external facing products & projects; & working closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional, & technical team members to get things done. Ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP & HR teams along with outside vendors & other project managers for boundary systems. This role will ensure agile best practices are utilized relating to planning, execution, & resource management while achieving specific project goals & outcomes within the triple constraint (cost, time, & quality). As a member of Delivery Management team, this role will also share the responsibilities for developing, maintaining, & improving agile project management methods, templates, & tools. Ensures that agile ways of working are understood & followed both inside & outside of the team.
- Works closely with Technical & Functional Managers to ensure product backlog is prioritized according to our business needs. Then, supports technical team/leads to deliver successful projects to our organization. Leads agile team and backlog for successful delivery; as well as the occasional waterfall project
- Responsible for change management, dependency management, project budgeting, & release communication for ongoing project releases
- Removes roadblocks directly, or via escalations
- Acquires resources & coordinates the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan
- Leads a globally distributed team through agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning sessions, sprint commit sessions, & sprint retrospective sessions
- Perform risk management & measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, metrics, & techniques
- Acts as a coach to increase the learning, productivity, & satisfaction of the team, ensuring team wellbeing is not compromised. Conflict resolution for team.
Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in IT, or related
- Proven experience establishing strong working relationships with a wide range of team members and clients
- Knowledge about software collaboration & time management tools – Microsoft project, Smartsheet etc.
- Excellent communicator with experience presenting project updates to technical & non-technical audience
- Advanced time management & analytical skills
- Experience working with Oracle Cloud ERP or similar system
- Experience working with UKG HRIS or similar system
- Expertise in cross-functional project management methods and techniques
- Proven experience working in an agile environment
- Strong experience with agile project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Asana
