Associate, Sponsorship Consulting

MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for an enthusiastic Associate to join a team that works across a broad portfolio of exciting Tier 1 client brands. As an Associate, you will help counsel clients on a variety of interesting challenges in the sponsorship marketing space.

Reports to: Associate Account Director

You Will:

• Sponsorship Consulting: Lead the development and assessment of partnership opportunities, sponsorship strategies, and integrated marketing campaigns
• Project Management: Set priorities, organize daily workload and contribute to resource planning
• Analysis: Deliver competitive landscapes that identify strategic whitespace opportunities that align with client goals
• Contract Development: Support in the negotiations and contract development of partnership agreements
• Client Management: Daily management of client accounts, including leading communications with clients, properties, and agents
• Problem Solving: Identify industry best practices and provide recommendations for practical applications with our client partnerships and activations
• Creative Mindset: Participate in client brainstorms, creative briefs, and brainstorming of activation concepts
• Informed: Maintain current knowledge of the sponsorship/marketing industry
• Business Development: Support new business pitches, RFPs, and client presentations

You Have:

• 2+ years of marketing experience
• Knowledge of culture, technology and marketing industry trends
• Knowledge across sports and entertainment industry
• Bachelor's Degree with backgrounds in business, consulting, operations or marketing.
• Experience building relationships with partners
• Experience producing creative solutions to business and marketing challenges

The salary range for this position is $51,000-$68,000. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
