Wheel is seeking a physician certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in weight loss and obesity management. This role will be integral in designing comprehensive telemedicine weight loss programs, creating evidence-based clinical guidelines, and developing a robust training curriculum for clinicians.
Responsibilities:
Program Design: Lead the creation and optimization of weight loss programs administered via telemedicine, tailored to evidence-based practices in obesity medicine.
Clinical Guidelines: Develop clinical guidelines that adhere to current best practices and innovations in weight management.
Training Program Creation: Design and implement a training program for clinicians to ensure quality and consistency in care delivery.
Qualifications:
Board certification by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (required).
At least 2 years of experience in obesity management
Experience developing clinical programs, guidelines, policies, and provider training
Experience in a digital health or telemedicine setting preferred
MD or DO
Commitment:
This is a project-based contract role with recurrent opportunities. Anticipated commitment is 5–10 hours per week.
Compensation:
Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience.
This is a 1099 Contractor position.
