We are looking to fill a Full Time Departmental Secretary position for our Nursing Administration department at Riley Hospital. The hours for this position are as follows: 6:30am -3:00pm, Monday-Friday (No Weekends, Holidays, or On Call).

This role will be responsible for working on reporting out to the state and inputting data about the newborn screens at Riley Hospital.

The Departmental Secretary ensures effective operations of the department by coordinating schedules, providing accurate reports and correspondence, inputting database information and filing, and maintaining confidentiality of information. They answer routine inquiries received from visitors and refers others as appropriate. They monitor supply inventories and completes and forwards purchase orders to replenish supply levels. They assist manager or equivalent with budgets and objectives as needed. If you are seeking a role where your efforts will improve the lives of our patients and employees, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience; health care setting a plus.
  • Requires basic proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
