Designer/Drafter AutoCAD

Fantastic long term opportunity for a Designer/Drafter to join a leading manufacturer in San Diego.
The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to prepare facility layouts, develop as-built drawings of existing facilities, and produce layouts to support equipment moves & production area expansion.

• Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience using AutoCAD to work on shop floor layouts, single line diagrams that includes infrastructure-water lines and electrical lines.
• Will be required to update CAD library.
• Experience using AutoCAD and knowledge of standard architectural and mechanical drafting principals a must.
• Work performed will include preparing design layouts of manufacturing areas that are undergoing change & modernizations. This work will include importing AutoCAD drawings of machinery from outside suppliers and incorporating into factory layouts to present to internal customers.

Pay Rate: $31/hour-$44.50/hour

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
