Business Developer for R&D Funding

As Business Developer for R&D Funding, you will primarily be responsible for drafting proposals to respond to specific calls for open institutional competitions and managing projects resulting from accepted proposals. You will interact with engineering teams, project management, and administrative teams to ensure the coherence of proposals and the execution of projects in terms of technical objectives, timeline, and cost consistent with proposal commitments.

Tasks

Identify and Seize Funding Opportunities:

• Identify funding opportunities at national and European levels.
• Collaborate with engineering, administrative, and project management teams to develop proposals.
• Draft and coordinate proposal documents with precision.

Project Coordination and Management:

• Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams (engineering, project management, administrative) and external partners.
• Strategically plan, coordinate, and manage project activities under the guidance of a Project Manager.
• Manage project expenses, provide cost reporting, and ensure audit readiness.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Lead the creation of detailed information documents (cost breakdowns, activity plans, deliverables).
• Maintain comprehensive databases of public incentives and auditable document records.
• Participate actively in audits conducted by regulatory authorities.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or business administration.

• Understanding of basic technology/engineering principles.Knowledge of corporate accounting and finance.

• Familiarity with political science.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a proposal manager in the aerospace, space, or defense sectors.
• Proven track record in successful proposals and projects.
• Demonstrated experience working in teams.
• Native Spanish and fluent English are required. French or German proficiency would be beneficial.
