All about the role:
Are you ready to embark on an exciting career as a Lab Technician? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team in the fascinating world of cooking products. If you have a passion for quality testing, reliability assessment, and enjoy working with both prototypes and production models, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cutting-edge cooking products. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct and meticulously record reliability and life testing on both prototype and production models.
What you’ll do:

  • Perform reliability testing of cooking products according to test schedule with general supervision.
  • Observe and report any issues with the test unit.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of testing results, unit history and other information as required. Most documentation will be electronic.
  • Ensure testing is going according to procedure, to include verifying thermocouples are reading correctly and water pots are kept filled to a specified level.
  • Perform visual audits before, during, and after testing.
  • Move test units around as needed.

Qualifications required:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in manufacturing, product test, or quality field. Associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to compare a test subject to a standard.
  • Able to type, with basic computer skills. Microsoft Office
  • Communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing (email).
  • Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
