Position Summary:

The Cloud Platform group is looking for world class server software engineers with DevOps experience to join our technology innovation group focused on the rapid development of cloud based end-to-end mobile applications and services.

• Responsibilities Include:
• Implement, maintain and evolve cloud-based products and services
• Responsible for ensuring consistency in application deployment, infrastructure, and development processes across multiple platforms and environments
• Work with both development and operations team to help standardize DevOps process for web applications
• Perform extensive research and analysis to make optimal cloud architecture decisions
• Promote automation across all teams within the organization
• Research on the latest and greatest technologies to support development and operations
• Write both application and automation code and perform code reviews
• Write documentation
• Participate in an Agile environment
• Experience Requirements:
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Good understanding of HTTP, HTTPS and Internet Networking processes
• Working proficiency in high-level web development languages (Java preferred)
• Strong familiarity with Linux/UNIX systems and servers
• Experience with configuring CI/CD systems (Jenkins and CircleCI preferred)
• Knowledge of best practice workflows for git or other version control systems
• Extensive working experience with public cloud providers such as AWS
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef
• Ability to automatically provision cloud resources using tools such as Terraform
• Preference given for experience in microservices using containerized technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate, and AWS EKS
• Passion for automation and ability to promote this passion across multiple teams both within and outside the organization

Communication skills:

Skilled in interpersonal communication, with an arsenal of listening, negotiation, problem-solving and team-building skills at the ready.

Educational Attainment:

Bachelor's degree preferably in an Engineering / IT related course

• Work Set-up: Hybrid; 2 days wfh & 3 days on site
• Work Schedule: Day shift / Mid Shift
