Key Responsibilities:

  1. SEO Strategy Development:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives, focusing on increasing organic traffic, improving SERP rankings, and enhancing visibility in competitive IT-related searches.
  • Create short-term and long-term roadmaps for SEO growth, prioritizing key areas like content optimization, technical SEO, and off-page SEO.
  • Keyword Research & Content Optimization:
    • Conduct extensive keyword research to identify high-value, relevant keywords in the IT industry.
    • Work closely with the content team to optimize existing content and create new, keyword-focused content that aligns with SEO best practices and user intent.
    • Optimize on-page elements such as meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking, and image alt text for better rankings.
  • Technical SEO:
    • Oversee regular technical audits of the website to ensure it is optimized for search engines, fixing any issues related to crawling, indexing, mobile usability, and page speed.
    • Implement schema markup, structured data, and other advanced SEO tactics to improve site performance and rankings.
    • Collaborate with web developers to ensure all website changes adhere to SEO best practices and improve search engine visibility.
  • Link Building & Off-Page SEO:
    • Develop and execute a robust link-building strategy to improve domain authority and rankings for targeted keywords.
    • Manage outreach campaigns to build quality backlinks from industry-relevant websites, blogs, and publications.
    • Monitor off-page SEO performance, including social signals and backlink profiles, ensuring a clean and authoritative link portfolio.
  • Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
    • Use SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and others to track and analyze SEO performance.
    • Provide monthly and quarterly reports on organic traffic, rankings, and lead generation.
    • Use data-driven insights to continually refine SEO strategies, ensuring optimal ROI from all SEO efforts.
  • Local SEO:
    • Optimize the company's local SEO strategy, focusing on improving visibility for localized searches and Google My Business.
    • Ensure that the company's IT services rank for location-based searches in key markets, optimizing content and directories for local intent.
  • Competitive Analysis & Market Research:
    • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats within the SEO landscape, adjusting strategies to stay ahead of competitors.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and tools, ensuring that the company remains ahead of industry shifts.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Collaborate with content creators, developers, and other marketing team members to align SEO strategies with broader marketing goals.
    • Train and mentor junior SEO staff or cross-functional teams on best SEO practices and tactics.
    • Act as the SEO subject matter expert, advising leadership on SEO strategies that align with overall business goals.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, IT, or related field.
    • 3+ years of proven experience in SEO, proven skills and track record working in IT industry.
    • Deep understanding of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and others.
    • Proven track record of driving significant organic traffic growth, improving keyword rankings, and generating quality leads.
    • Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site audits, page speed optimization, structured data, and mobile optimization.
    • Hands-on experience in content optimization and working with content teams to create SEO-friendly materials.
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for SEO purposes.
    • Experience in link-building and outreach campaigns, with a focus on quality over quantity.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
