Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern

Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for Summer 2025 in our Parsippany, NJ office. The individual will assist with drainage design calculations for roadway storm sewer systems; hydrologic and/or hydraulic analyses for bridges, culverts and waterways; preparation of plans; and preparation of design reports and permit applications.

 

*Local candidates preferred, no housing stipend provided.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or similar engineering required
  • Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic principles, floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design
  • Previous internship experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Proficiency in MS Office software
  • Ability to work in a team environment
