Grow with us.Logistics Forklift Operator Overview:The Logistics Forklift Operator at DHL is responsible for efficiently managing the movement of stock within our warehouse environment. This role involves handling loading, unloading, and transporting shipments of various sizes using different types of forklifts and power equipment. Our team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused environment ensures that YOU are an essential part of everyday life.Key Responsibilities of Forklift Operator:• Stock Movement: Operate forklifts and other power equipment to load, unload, and move stock.Stage products and materials as required for 80% of your shifts.• Shipment Preparation: Pull and prepare products for shipment. Ensure accuracy in the number and types of products loaded.• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure inventory accuracy.• Safety Compliance: Follow all OSHA and MSDS standards to maintain a safe work environment.• Load Verification: Verify load accuracy, and check load count, stability, and product damage. Report any variances as necessary.• Equipment Maintenance: Change equipment batteries or LP tanks. Monitor power sources as needed. Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.• Physical Inventories: Assist in physical inventories as required.• Daily Equipment Inspection: Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.Qualifications for Forklift Operator:• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift training program within the first 30 days of employment.• High School Diploma or equivalent.• Minimum of six months of warehouse experience.• At least six months of forklift operation experience.• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions.• Working knowledge of warehouse management system equipment.• Must be detail-oriented and a team player.How to Apply:Submit your application in a snap by clicking the APPLY NOW button.
