This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.Duration: 6+ Months ContractLocation: RemoteSalary: Best in the MarketRole: Architect (internal)Primary Skills: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloud Strategy and ArchitectureRole Description: As an Architect (Internal), you must have at least 12+ years of experience.Required Skills:• 12+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, and operations• 4+ years of experience in Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) preferred• Proven experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including hands-on implementation of cloud services.• Extensive experience in application modernization, cloud migration, and DevSecOps practices.Preferred Skills:• *At least 4 years of CDC ExperienceDay-to-day Responsibilities:Cloud Strategy and Architecture:• Conduct assessments of existing infrastructure and applications to determine cloud readiness.• Develop and implement cloud migration/modernization strategies that align with the client?s mission objectives.• Design and architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using AWS and Azure services.• Lead the assessment and planning of cloud migration projects, including the selection of appropriate cloud migration archetypes.Cloud Services:• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.• Provide technical guidance on cloud-native application development and modernization.• Architect solutions utilizing cloud services such as AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Azure VMs, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions.• Lead discussions on application modernization strategies, including containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), microservices architecture, and serverless computing.• Implement best practices for refactoring, re-platforming, and rehosting applications in the cloud.Expected Deliverables:• Cloud POV• Cloud Future State Architecture• Cloud Best PracticesEducation: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or EquivalentExperience: Minimum 12+ years of experienceRelocation: This position will not cover relocation expensesTravel: NoLocal Preferred: YesNote: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)Recruiter Name: Zulker AliRecruiter Phone:Equal Employment Opportunity#Mastech1Minimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 yearsExpected Travel Time: None
