This is a permanent position, where you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from the design phase through to completion. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including infrastructure design, site development, and public works projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for problem-solving.ResponsibilitiesAs a Civil Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:• Developing detailed designs for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.• Overseeing and managing all stages of the project lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation and completion.• Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments, and providing strategic solutions to any potential issues.• Collaborating with architects, contractors, construction managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.• Preparing and presenting detailed reports and project updates to stakeholders.• Ensuring all projects comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.• Providing technical advice and resolving complex engineering problems.• Supervising and mentoring junior engineers and other technical staff.• Continually updating skills and knowledge to stay current with industry trends and advancements.QualificationsTo be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.• A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Civil Engineer.• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.• Valid Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and best practices.• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.• Superior problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.If you are a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Civil Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we would love to hear from you.
