Apply via Dice today!Location: Detroit, MIDescription:Job: IT Consultant/TrainerLocation: Detroit, MI (Onsite)Type: Contract• Please send qualified resumes toSummary: Under the direction of the Supervisor and the operational guidance of the Health and Business IT Training & Support Division of Information Technology, and the Director of Collaboration Solutions, the IT Training Consultant will support the Service Desk and conduct training activities for the Henry Ford Health System. The role includes delivering training on the Microsoft Office Suite and developing integrated learning and development programs.Responsibilities:• Develop and deliver training programs both virtually and in-person, including knowledge sharing sessions and on-site support.• Provide in-depth troubleshooting, research, diagnosis, resolution, and escalation of complex technical issues for M365, both office client and web-based services.• Support Service Desk Associates on behalf of Collaboration Solutions Support and HaBITTS.• Gather information via polls or surveys to assess employee knowledge and skills, and provide appropriate educational programs.• Identify and respond to trends in Service Desk collaboration tools, handling changes and emerging issues.• Manage email, SN queues, group chat, and other team communication channels to understand the current state of M365 services and incoming user requests and incidents.• Test new technologies and support structures to assist with system integration.• Recommend process improvements to enhance the use and adoption of M365.• Identify problems and report trends to the Training Manager; recommend training, education programs, and process improvement initiatives.• Perform job duties efficiently, including multi-tasking, prioritizing work, and meeting deadlines.• Adhere to HFH guidelines for attendance and timeliness.Go-Live Support:• Conduct on-site support during go-live phases.• Conduct onsite labs to assist with training and adoption.Skills:• Knowledge of Henry Ford Health System and its technical teams, support teams, network, hardware, and software is preferred.Education:• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.• Minimum of 2 years of experience training Microsoft Office in a corporate setting or hospital; must be highly computer literate.Contact:This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
