The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of JDA WMS (Warehouse Management System), specifically version 8.2, and will be responsible for managing and optimizing warehouse operations through effective implementation and support of JDA WMS solutions.Key Responsibilities:• JDA WMS Implementation: Lead and support the implementation and configuration of JDA WMS 8.2, ensuring that the system meets the specific needs of the business.• Requirement Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional specifications and solutions.• System Configuration: Configure the JDA WMS 8.2 system according to business needs, including setting up workflows, rules, and system parameters.• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements within the warehouse operations using JDA WMS functionalities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.• Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and support them in resolving any issues or challenges they encounter with the system.• Technical Collaboration: Work with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between JDA WMS and other systems (e.g., ERP, TMS).• Testing and Validation: Lead testing efforts to ensure that JDA WMS configurations and enhancements meet the business requirements and operate as expected.• Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any functional issues related to JDA WMS in a timely manner.Required Skills and Experience:• JDA WMS Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with JDA WMS, specifically version 8.2.• Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse management processes, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, and labor management.• Technical Acumen: Basic technical knowledge to understand integrations, workflows, and potentially assist in debugging or troubleshooting technical issues.• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex business processes and provide efficient and effective solutions within the JDA WMS framework.• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.• Project Management: Experience in leading or participating in JDA WMS implementation projects, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with other versions of JDA WMS or other WMS systems.• Familiarity with adjacent systems such as ERP, TMS, or OMS.• Certification in JDA WMS or related supply chain management systems.• Experience in the retail, manufacturing, or logistics industries.
