This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about the Engineering industry and has a strong background in Woodwork and Casework. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing detailed millwork packages, ensuring the highest level of precision and quality. With a focus on innovation and sustainability, the Millwork Engineer will play a crucial role in the creation of custom architectural elements for various projects.ResponsibilitiesAs a Millwork Engineer, your duties will include but are not limited to:• Designing and creating detailed millwork packages using CAD software, ensuring all designs meet industry standards and client specifications.• Collaborating with architects, designers, and contractors to develop custom millwork solutions for various projects.• Reviewing and modifying designs to improve efficiency and reduce costs, while maintaining the highest level of quality and craftsmanship.• Overseeing the production process, from initial design to final installation, ensuring all millwork elements are produced accurately and on schedule.• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the design or production process.• Conducting regular inspections of finished millwork elements, ensuring they meet all quality standards and client expectations.• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and materials, and incorporating them into designs when appropriate.• Regularly communicating with team members and clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Engineering industry, specifically in Woodwork and Casework.• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Woodworking, or a related field.• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.• Strong knowledge of millwork production processes and materials.• Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and clients.• A passion for innovation and sustainability, with a desire to create beautiful, high-quality millwork elements that are both functional and environmentally friendly.If you are a passionate and experienced Millwork Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
