If you are interested please send me your updated word format resume to and reach me @ .Role: Senior Site Reliability EngineerLocation: Jersey City, NJ or Buffalo, NYDuration: Full TimeJob Description:The SRE is expected to provide incident support, management, and resolution to Payments team for any IKP issues and queries. They are responsible for requesting engineering within the Payments IKP space and managing and maintaining the Payments infrastructure.Responsibilities:• SRE Working Expectations• The Payment SRE team is expected to provide 24/5 round-the-clock support on weekdays covering 4 regions (UK/HK/IST/EST). The SRE will be assigned to work in one region. Flexibility is required for this role, for example, SRE working in US region might have to work weekdays from 10am to 18:00 or later instead of the standard 9am to 17:00. Start time will vary across the team. This will be discussed and agreed with SRE.• Standard working hours for SRE are 8 hours each day, 40 hours each week. The SRE must be flexible as they may be required occasionally to work outside of their agreed hours.• SRE will be expected to provide on-call support during the weekends. They will be expected to participate in on-call weekend rotations (1 in 4 weekends). Exact dates and times will be agreed with team lead to ensure coverage across all regions.• SRE on-call is expected to acknowledge the incident within 10 mins and respond appropriately. If SRE on-call is unavailable, they can swap shifts with another team member. ON-call swap is the responsibility of the SRE. They will be held accountable if on-call rotations is not adhered to.• On-call support hours and any extra hours worked should be taken off in LieuQualifications:Key Skills• Experience as a SRE in an Agile environment• Experience with Linux/Unix systems and Shell Scripting (BASH).• Experience with Kubernetes, preferably GKE on Prem• Ability to program (structured and OO) with one or more high level languages, such as Python or Go• Experience with building and managing automated CI/CD pipelines and related tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins)• Experience with VMware and other virtualization platform technology• Incident support and resolutions• Participate in weekend on-call rotations, open to flexible working hours.• Implement and enhance monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.• Automate manual tasks to boost efficiency and minimise human error.• Excellent analytical skills, capable of fast decision-making using sound judgement, and not afraid to explore new ideas.• Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with customers with differing technical specializations, able to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.• Good organizational and English communication skills are required, including prioritization of multiple projects and objectives.Nice To Have Skills• Istio knowledge and understanding of Anthos Service Mesh.• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog, Kiali).• Kubernetes certification is desirable and considered a plus.• Experience on Load Balancer and reverse Proxies (Nginx Controller / Seesaw).• Experience with Anthos on VMware.• Experience with Anthos on Baremetal.• Exposure on OpenTelemetry and OpenMetrics.• Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).• Knowledge of Portworx for Kubernetes Storage.• Knowledge about confluent resources like connectors, control center, replicators.• Knowledge of Kafka Stream Generator, KSQLDB, cluster federation, Spark Streams.Senior Site Reliability Engineer
