This position will be onsite located in Dulles, VA. You will become part of Northrop Grumman's Integrated Missions Operating Unit and Ground Capabilities organization to support a classified program with the development and delivery of mission critical satellite ground systems.You should have strong interpersonal effectiveness, communication and problem-solving skills with an innate drive to continuously learn and accomplish tasks with quality in mind. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills.Roles and Responsibilities:• Organize and facilitate program increment (PI) planning, daily stand ups, iteration reviews, retrospectives, iteration planning, demos and other meetings• Track and communicate Agile metrics which may include team velocity and sprint/program increment progress within the Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework• Ensure the Scrum/Kanban Framework is implemented effectively and provide coaching/training at the team level to maximize benefits of SAFe framework• Function as servant leader for team by identifying and removing impediments, facilitating discussion and conflict resolution• Support the Product Owner, assist with product backlog maintenance, internal and external communication• Assist with making appropriate commitments to deliver business value through story selection, definition of tasks and estimation• Participate proactively in developing and maintaining standards, tools, processes, and best practices with the team• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of customer's mission, priorities, and supporting processes and practicesThis position can be filled at the Principal or Sr. Principal level.Basic Qualifications:To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below.Principal Scrum Master• Active/current TS is required at time of application• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5 years' experience; or 3 years' experience with a Masters; or a PhD. Experience can be considered in lieu of degree• Previous experience supporting U.S. Government customers• Ability to travel up to 10% of the timeSr. Principal Scrum Master• Active/current TS is required at time of application• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 9 years' experience; or 7 years' experience with a Masters; or 4 years of experience with a PhD.
