You will be the owner of driving revenue and growth across DICE’s sales team globally, which is currently split across the UK, US, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, and Germany. It’s a place where you can be yourself, influence the culture, and create work that you’re proud of.About The RoleYou will work closely with the VPs of Content to get the best performance from the team on the ground while thinking creatively about how to achieve our goals.You’ll beAn excellent leader and coach, who can help the team reach peak performance while building the strategy to help them achieve our revenue goals.Comfortable working in an increasingly competitive market, focused on both profitability and growth.A well-rounded and ambitious sales leader who can adapt as our market share expands and our offering grows beyond ticketing for the first time.Reporting directly to the COO and will run the Global Content team.Delivering Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing the commercial strategies for new business in ticketing globally while working closely with the CFO, COO, and CBO in the development and attainment of the sales targets.Dealing with Market Expansion Analysis: Effectively analysing the internal and external business environment, customers, competitors, and strategies to increase market share and revenue while working closely with stakeholders to identify market needs and new products.The go-to for Market planning and execution: Developing and supporting the rollout of new revenue streams and city-by-city strategy, including long-range sales strategy and sales forecasts.You arePassionate, humble, and talented.A fan of music and culture.Actively responsible.Experienced with Partner relations: Supporting the Operations and Exec team with high-level partner relations of our top partners while looking to grow these accounts.Experienced in New Business: Partner with the VP’s of Content and all Sales Teams to close the biggest deals.Experienced in cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as Account Management, Operations, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and other functions to streamline processes and achieve company goals. Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.Knowledgeable on the Mission and special project management: Drive the outcome of key internal projects and North Star missions as the exec-sponsor.Able to Lead: Using expertise to support and provide coaching and training to sales teams to increase goal attainment, employee engagement, and provide career development.You’ll needA Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or Sales. Advanced degree a plus.Over ten years of experience leading a sales team, ideally globally distributed, with substantial experience specialized in live music and ticketing preferred.A broad experience in formulating vision and strategy for a Sales Team, including an excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Operations processes and systems (sales cycle, CRM applications, reporting, forecasting, territory management, and sales quotas).Extensive experience in business-to-business sales, pipeline generation, and overall sales process within the USA, UK, and EMEA.Strategic in thinking, highly numerate and data analytical, with a proven track record in new market growth penetration and growing existing legacy business through high-performance sales function.Thrives when coaching a team and getting the best out of people.Confident and ideally experienced in Salesforce.Experienced in writing and presenting data and influencing at a C-Suite/board level.Understands that sales is both an art and a science, and how to balance the two.Understands how to establish and maintain excellent relationships with C-level executives of key target clients and channel partners.Ideally based in New York, other home locations will be considered but frequent presence in one of the hubs and our other business locations is required. We note the salary information as a general guideline only, as actual compensation may vary from posting based on location.
