Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:• HM Notes: Primary Location Cambridge, Alternate Work location Bridgewater, NJ - local candidates only Hybrid.• Drive Key Events & med coms procurement drivers execution in its regions (High value programs).• Business Partnering with GBUs, GTMC, SBO teams 3- SRM with strategic vendors• Individual will require a wide understanding of market in this evolving space and evolution of market opportunities.• Individual is responsible to evaluate the pharma market practises within medical communication services and Events to help decisions makers with best options for Client .• The position responsibilities and mission include but are not limited to:• Implement the global procurement strategies to manage optimally the SBO & Medical or Commercial function spends as appropriate.• Optimize Events & MedCom Spend• Support Masterclasses / Workshop with internal & external stakeholders.• Project management across procurement categories to deliver on time sourcing.• Maintain knowledge of strategic suppliers and support tools allowing efficient oversights• Early engage and connect to improve communication and delivery and overall customer experience• Support procurement awareness across communities of stakeholders (e.g. by providing training on procurement)• Procurement operations• Adapt, implement & execute global category strategies,• Support savings objectives at regional and country level• Comply to client policies• Support the most strategic negotiations for M&S procurement topics as well as any major supplier issues, represent procurement on key governances as assigned ensuring active participation. And support as requested by other categories to ensure improved business outcomes for Client.• Ensure source to Pay (end to end) processes continually improve and provide needs to other Business Transformation functions and procurement domains• Report activities & Performance as requested.• Customer Centricity• Engage and facilitate the Regional Procurement network, the proper Business partnering in countries & regions, as it pertains to Client Business Operations, Medical or commercial sourcing needs, Strategic and innovative approach for business solutions while in compliance with external and internal policiesKey Requirements and Technology Experience:• Top skills; Procurement, contracts, and Project Management skills.• 3+ years experience in Procurement or related field (including agency-side experience)• Knowledge of best-in-class Procurement techniques and processes• Defines and balances strategic priorities against immediate operational challenges• Project Management skills (planning, prioritizing)• Consistency of focus upon delivery of outcomes and results• Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to utilize tools/systems accordingly• Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent priorities/projects• Able to quickly assimilate new information• Readily adapts to new environment, processes, ways of working, etc.• Strong communication, presentation, change management and negotiation skills• Role model in compliance and ethics• Actively seeks feedback to identify opportunities for improvement• Resilience and aptitude to navigate in a complex organization• Education : Master s Degree from an accredited college or university• Languages: English language proficiency, written and verbal.• Top Must Have Skills: 3+ years experience in Procurement or related field (including agency-side experience).master s degree from an accredited college or university.• Previous pharma experience required, Experience with contracts, Project Management skills (planning, prioritizing).• Consistency of focus upon delivery of outcomes and results.• Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to utilize tools/systems accordingly Excel.• Prepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidanceOur client is a leading Pharmaceutical Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
