JOB DESCRIPTION:

SAIC is seeking a self-starter summer intern to assist with development and deployment of a digital engineering platform to support complex systems engineering and integration programs.

We are seeking energetic and disciplined individuals to help define, visualize and communicate the value of support services through Model Based Systems Engineering techniques. As a leader in the emerging discipline of Model Based Systems Engineering, SAIC seeks to develop methods of representing complex systems through data-driven models to help teams understand, track and communicate requirement and/or architecture changes.

The Summer Intern will collaborate and work closely with SAIC staff to innovate. By the end of the internship period, the intern will produce an overview brief of a summarizing project work and accomplishments.

Overview: Intern will support a core group of systems engineers from multi-disciplinary backgrounds. This contract is identifying and managing current and future digital engineering platforms to support national security space systems.

What will you do?

What will you learn? Understanding of national security space systems and innovative efforts to enhance processes through digital solutions. Gain professional real world systems engineering experience by working and collaborating on system models never developed before for to support national security systems.

• SAIC summer internship begins as soon as feasible, paid, full-time position in El Segundo, CA but wokr will primarily be remote with virtual meetings.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School and one year or more of college coursework in a technical field
Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
