Thomson Reuters is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Marketer to join our team as an Account Based Marketing (ABM) specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns that engage and accelerate the sales pipeline of specific, targeted accounts and contacts.

The successful candidate will have a passion for creating memorable experiences and a creative, customer-first mindset that prioritizes creating best-in-class customer experiences. This position requires strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with marketing and sales leaders to develop and execute marketing programs that deliver superior experiences across our global events.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of an ABM strategy to support account-based selling.
  • Work closely with sales, field marketing, demand gen marketing and partnerships teams to determine sales enablement needs and develop marketing programs.
  • Create marketing plans and plays for targeted sales accounts and contacts that focus on new logos and accelerate existing opportunities.
  • Engage with the sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities.
  • Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities, including global, regional, and local programs.
  • Design and execute 1:1, 1: few, and broad-based marketing initiatives to meet pipeline requirements of varied account segments.
  • Deploy ready-to-carry-out marketing tactics and provide sales enablement on an account and industry basis using various channels including digital, events, and social media.
  • Work with sales to identify gaps in key personas and contact information within targeted accounts and develop data strategies to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
  • Measure and report on the performance of ABM campaigns and make recommendations for future improvements.
  • Track lead flow to ensure the appropriate sales channels are following up on marketing in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the ABM space or demand generation for cloud-based software and/or business service providers.
  • Strong understanding and highly enthusiastic about learning/leveraging marketing technology to deploy integrated campaigns (Marketing Automation Platforms, Digital Analytics tools, Webinar and events tools, CRM systems).
  • Hands on experience with 6sense, Workfront, Certain, and Salesforce a plus
  • Creative, customer-first mindset that prioritizes creating memorable experiences for our customer base.
  • Self-starter that can motivate and drive collaboration across teams.
  • Team player with the ability to foster strong relationships across multiple levels and functions within the organization – including working closely with marketing, sales, product, and operations teams to succeed and grow.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks, solve problems, and be adaptable.
  • Understanding of modern B2B demand generation best practices including integrating online and offline marketing tactics to reach, connect and convert prospects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and related operating/productivity tools.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $47.00 per hour
