The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Dining Service Associate (DSA), within Campus Dining at North Dining Hall. The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.
Why this position?The Dining Service Associate reports to the dining service manager, supporting the mission and goals of a "Best in Class" dining program. As a service operations member of a dynamic dining hall operation, the associate will support the daily operations of the dining hall. He/she will complete general assignments related to the preparation, presentation, service and clean-up of food production and service through standards of service and hospitality, insuring the Notre Dame Community and guests with the very best in food and service. This "front-of-house" position is critical to insuring all diners feel welcome by providing a warm, friendly atmosphere and being responsive to the changing needs and desires of customers. The dining service associate prepares work areas for service; sets up and cleans equipment and facilities; participates in general assignments, such as, preparation of beverages, salads or desserts; participates in special or catered events within the dining hall or elsewhere on campus; and is responsible for performing tasks related to the appearance, safety and sanitation of food service facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma
or GED 1 to 6 months experience
Ability to stand and/or walk for 100% of shift
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to obtain ServSafe food safety training certification
