Directive Consulting is the performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech companies. We use Customer Generation (a marketing methodology developed by us) which focuses on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. We offer Paid Media, SEO, Performance Creative, and Video to our clients by creating comprehensive digital marketing strategies that allow our clients to hit their SQL targets, every time.
The Senior Paid Media Manager plays a critical role in executing and optimizing Directive’s internal paid media strategy to drive growth and maximize performance across all paid acquisition channels. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this individual will manage Directive’s own paid media efforts—focusing on lead generation, pipeline growth, and brand visibility.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in B2B paid media, with expertise in major platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Paid Social. They must have a strategic mindset, analytical skills, and the ability to execute campaigns that align with Directive’s marketing and revenue objectives.
Role and Responsibilities:
Paid Media Strategy & Execution

Own full-funnel paid media efforts across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, Review Sites and other B2B-relevant platforms.
Develop, test, and refine ad copy, landing pages, and audience targeting strategies to improve performance.
Manage budgets efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation across campaigns to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).
Campaign Optimization & Performance Management
Continuously analyze campaign performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven optimizations.
Conduct routine budget pacing checks, placement audits, and bid adjustments.
Implement A/B testing methodologies for ads, creatives, and landing pages to improve conversion rates.
Collaborate with the SEO, content, and creative teams to align paid media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present actionable insights to the VP of Marketing.
Monitor campaign performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Communicate findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work cross-functionally with marketing, design, content, and RevOps teams to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign success.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging paid media opportunities.
Manage relationships with ad platform representatives to ensure Directive is leveraging best practices and staying ahead of changes.
What You Offer:
4+ years of experience in B2B paid media, preferably within a high-growth SaaS or agency environment.
Deep understanding of Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, and programmatic platforms.
Proven ability to scale paid media campaigns while maintaining efficiency and driving revenue impact.
