ABOUT THE FLOCK
As the leader of the bluebird Patient and Community Education Liaison (bPACE) team you will be working alongside some of the most committed and passionate individuals in the industry to ensure we continue to bring creative solutions to patients living with Severe Genetic Diseases (SGD). As a team leader, you will be responsible for setting the strategy and direction of the bPACE team, with the ultimate goal of helping empower patients and caregivers with tools and educational materials that help them navigate their disease, the healthcare ecosystem and decision making. The bPACE team will be responsible for providing patients and caregivers living with sickle cell disease (SCD) and beta thalassemia (BT) with meaningful educational resources primarily focused on of the management and progression of the disease(s) and gene therapy.
In this leadership role, you will be a key member of the marketing leadership team helping to identify relevant and actionable patient insights at a local/regional level relevant for the execution of the brand plan. Your team serves as a catalyst for identifying the patient voice and perspective to drive bluebird bio's decisions through meaningful engagement. You will bring a strong patient focused mindset, experience in leading teams, and the ability to identify and synthetize educational gaps and closely partner with cross-functional teams.

This is a field-based role. Travel as required by business. 40% local/regional travel required for patient meetings/congresses.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a total compensation and rewards package that ranks among the best in our industry. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $186,436 - $239,694. Your base pay will be determined based on several factors including market data, demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and travel requirements. Our overall package also includes eligibility for stock, incentive bonuses, and benefit programs, a flexible time off program, as well as 28 paid holidays, including 2 company shutdowns.
