JOB SUMMARY
The Dir Change Management and Experience is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing organizational change programs for Baylor Scott and White Health (BSWH), which may include change initiatives, employee and customer experience initiatives, large-scale business process changes, mergers and acquisitions, and other change management programs. Creates and executes comprehensive and overarching change management plans for all areas of responsibility within BSWH healthcare system of hospitals, clinics, and ambulatory care facilities. Ensures success of large-scale change projects through effective planning, implementation, engagement, and measurement. Leads the application of change management methodologies, communication planning, organizational readiness assessment, and stakeholder analysis. Defines and collects key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of employee experience, customer experience, and workforce performance and identifies areas for improvement. Oversees the development and implementation of change management communication, project tools, and education that ensures adoption and minimal disruption to BSWH operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
1. Directs, develops, and implements the system-wide change management framework, and leads various change projects and initiatives that aligns with BSWH business objectives.
2. Collaborates with individuals at all levels of the organization to develop strategies that support business change and culture shaping within BSWH.
3. Develops data-driven solutions to address the people and change management factors affecting the organization’s ability to reach its strategic and business goals.
4. Partners with individuals at all levels of the organization to develop strategies that support business change and culture shaping within BSWH.
5. Leads the change and serve as the culture and change management expert for various programs and initiatives.
6. Performs change analysis and impact assessments to determine the risks and benefits associated with changes resulting from business transformation initiatives.
7. Develops, gains alignment, and executes on complex culture and change management strategies for large-scale projects.
8. Influences sponsors to adopt and advocate for culture and change management initiatives.
9. Drives culture adoption throughout the enterprise through business leader collaboration.
10. Leverages culture assessment and shaping techniques during change management engagements to enable effective transitions.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Masters preferred.
2. 5+ years of experience in change management, consulting, project management, or related experience.
3. 1+ years of experience in a leadership role.
4. Highly organized, energetic, and creative thinker.
5. Excellent communication skills with ability to lead conversations and engage stakeholders across the organization at all levels.
