Job Description
Veritas is adding an experienced Cloud GTM Director to its growing WW Cloud GTM team. Candidates should have a deep knowledge of Microsoft and/or AWS sales teams in US, Canada, LATAM, or have been part of Microsoft or AWS sales organizations previously. The Director will utilise their strong relationships to drive consistent alignment, collaboration, and go-to-market activities in the region with Regional Field Sales teams, the Channel Partner teams, and Veritas Cloud Sales teams. The Director will lead the Americas Cloud GTM plan and execution, and will be aligned to the Veritas WSM critical priorities.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead Veritas strategic GTM with our Cloud Partners including development of regional business plans that contribute to Veritas’ growth targets and pathways to market.
  • Coordinates and aligns Cloud Partner activity in alignment with the regional sales plan. Includes active participation in field forecast reviews, team meetings and quarterly business reviews.
  • Responsible for Cloud Partner enablement to position and sell the value of Veritas.
  • Understanding of Cloud Partner vision, product suites, leadership structure, and sales models are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to influence sellers and customers based on the Veritas product and the technical ecosystem is required.
  • Engage directly in the sales cycle as a partnership and Co-Sell Subject Matter Expert on joint pursuits, facilitating incremental joint sales with cloud partnerships in region.
  • Drive and enable Cloud Marketplace field sales capability to accelerate ARR growth, working with Cloud Partner and Veritas field sales, leading Cloud GTM engagement best practices across leadership teams.
  • Drive joint sales pursuits in targeted accounts to facilitate field interlock, joint pursuit planning and winning New Logos.
  • Strong executive presence & track record of consistent quota attainment & over achievement.
  • Lead collaboration with joint Marketing teams to build and execute joint demand generation plans (Prospecting Days, CxO Roundtables and joint events).
Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong, documented track record of achievement against quota and sales or alliance leadership, with managing effectively through change a strong preference.
  • Excellent presentation skills. Candidates should be comfortable to present effectively to large audiences, both internal and external.
  • Ability to interact with people at all company levels, to gain trust and to exercise balanced judgment. This includes both internally and at senior levels with customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to be tenaciously outcome focused, leading teams to solve problem proactively and positively enabling team scale of winning solution plays with Cloud Partners.
  • Strong operational command of business including written/verbal communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in various business tools (XLS/SFDC/Teams/etc).
  • Fast learner and self-starter who is comfortable taking action and driving results despite ambiguity, prioritizing diverse cross-functional team work, and maintaining velocity at regional GTM success.
  • Preferred 8+ years of experience in Technology Sales and/or Alliances with experience managing partnership with our Cloud Partners in your region.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.

Target cash compensation range of $306,800 - $415,000
The above pay range is based on a good faith estimate made at the time of publication and may be modified in the future. The pay offered to a candidate may vary within this range depending on factors such as education, experience, and geographic location.
