Tyson Foods’ Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to fill the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – Strategic Alliance, Recruitment, and International Engagement position with the specific focus of strengthening our internal capabilities and competencies enterprise-wide. This position is a direct report of the Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at our World Headquarters located in Springdale, Arkansas. at our World Headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas. The ideal candidate must have a strategic mindset, with the ability to assess organizational needs, and source strategic alliances that complement and expand upon our diverse recruitment and retention initiatives in support of our desire to be the most sought-after company career engagement and development, within the United States and abroad. We are looking for a strategic, innovative thought leader and a collaborative candidate with excellent people skills to support the work of our Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer and the supporting team. This position will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide initiatives, seeking game-changing approaches that ensure equity and inclusion fostering Team Member belonging that positively impact and elevate Tyson Foods as an industry leader when it comes to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and effectively communicate enterprise-wide our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion plan with input from key stakeholders and the executive leadership team.
Lead, manage, and strategically direct corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion programs that. that align with Tyson’s DEI commitments.
Provide oversight and leadership in support of the eight Business Resource Groups (BRG) in alignment with the Business Resource Group Governance as supported by the Executive DE&I Council.
Maximize and leverage both internal and external activities across BRGs to increase awareness and collective impact power that foster a positive and inclusive environment at Tyson Foods.
Provide oversight, planning, and execution of the Mentor Circle group in conjunction with our Leadership and Development HR Team.
Review, present and implement DE&I annual training options that encourage a mindset of belonging.
In collaboration with the VP of DE&I this position will be responsible for leading, managing, and publishing all dashboards, scorecards, and/or presentations required by the executive leadership team.
Partner with the Team Member analytics team to understand the current results and trends of the annual team member survey (Glint) and collaborate on a strategy to improve the overall score,
Identify and track progress towards promoting a more diverse and inclusive workplace to include implementing DEI metrics for employee reviews, establishing globally relevant training & learning opportunities, and measuring the upward mobility of diverse talent.
In collaboration with key stakeholders, and other relevant parties, determine DE&I in hiring and promotions to address the gaps.
Delegate project assignments based on availability, ability, and developmental needs; provide developmental feedback to team members
Provide oversight, guidance, and meaningful consultation regarding inclusion in external and internal DE&I surveys
In collaboration with the Communications Team, lead all efforts and aspects of the DE&I webpage, Social Media posting, publication of the annual DE&I calendar, and assist with content for the Tyson weekly newsletter.
Assist with the development of onboarding and engagement initiatives that support underrepresented groups.
Assist Talent Acquisition to enhance our recruitment strategy and promote best practices for attracting diverse candidates.
Serve as the key liaison to champion an inclusive environment that supports the full spectrum of diversity at Tyson Foods
Assist with the development and publication of our inaugural DE&I Annual Report to be shared externally.
Advance organizational strategic efforts aligned with our ESG commitments.
Requirements:
Education/Certifications: College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
Experience: 9+ years of demonstrated and progressive leadership experience in inclusion, diversity, and engagement. Experience leading and directing employee resource groups. Demonstrated experience in conflict management and resolution related to inclusion, diversity, and engagement issues.
Computer Skills: Technical aptitude with advanced proficiency levels in MS Word, and PowerPoint. Must be able to work with large volumes of data and possess advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., formulas, pivots, data manipulation, etc.).
Communication Skills: An enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal skills, an innovative mindset, with the ability to develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
Special Skills: Project management and prioritization skillsets.

Travel: Ability to travel 25 to 30% within the year.
