Job Summary

As VP Master Servicing, you will manage and control one or more departments in Master Servicing to achieve optimum performance consistent with the Master Servicing objectives and company policy. You will also manage vendor relationships, maintain Control Self Assessment for department and control all special projects.

Scope/Responsibilities: Strategic/Operational ownership for a single/multiple sub-segments of a business channel or corporate staff function. Accountability is either a single function within a job family or entire enterprise; if only responsible for a Division, must be accountable for multiple functions within a job family. May have full budgetary responsibility for assigned area. Direct Report to SVP or EVP. Manages VP and/or below AVP level resources. Responsible for medium and/or long term business entity planning, strategic ownership and operational direction. Decisions have a high impact on assigned business area; may impact entire enterprise.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Manage, direct and control the daily operations of a department or division within Master Servicing, including establishing procedures, setting priorities, controlling work-flow, setting production and quality standards, while ensuring full compliance to all investor requirements.
Maintain staffing needs and various aspects of personnel, such as interviewing and hiring new employees, setting and reviewing performance objectives, providing career counseling, motivating performance, developing and promoting staff, performing corrective counseling and terminating unsuited employees.
Assist Senior Management in meeting all goals and standards by addressing issues, providing detailed statistical information of the portfolio and analyzing the impact of new company policies to areas of responsibility.
Provide ongoing training to the department staff on all job functions related to new or modified business processes, including investor requirements, servicing system enhancements and company policies.
Manage any vendor relationships and complete oversight of the vendor(s).
Manage MS risk reviews, internal audit and external audits are satisfactory.
Monthly dashboard is completed and reviewed monthly
Perform ad hoc projects and create new P&P’s which will increase the efficiency of the department.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

12+ years’ experience in in servicing and/or banking environment preferred.
Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
