The Team:

Enterprise IT is responsible for the bulk of technology used every day by Datadog employees around the world. Enterprise IT consists of the IT Operations, IT Security and IT Support teams. Together they manage and secure thousands of devices, Identity and Access Management, services like Google Workspace, Slack and Jamf as well as our network infrastructure and audio visual setups in our offices. They onboard and off-board employees, roll out new technology and help onboard and integrate people and technology as part of our M&A processes.

 

The Opportunity:

As the Director for Enterprise IT, you will oversee the three functional areas mentioned above. You will ensure the correct people, processes and technology are in place as we continue to scale rapidly around the world.

 

You Will:

  • Set the strategy, roadmap, budgets and quarterly goals for the Enterprise IT teamsScale your organization by hiring as well as mentoring
  • Facilitate a culture of innovation through new software, systems and programs
  • Ensure your teams are adhering to various security, privacy and compliance standards
  • Establish key performance indicators for each functional area to measure success over time
  • Create strong relationships with employees in all parts of the organization

 

You Are:

  • Proven leader with experience managing and growing IT and IT security teams
  • Experienced working in a fast growing, highly technical environment
  • Familiar working in a highly regulated environment (eg. ISO 27001, SOX, SOC 2, FedRAMP)
  • Excellent at verbal and written communications
  • Strong problem solving and technical skills
