Overview:
The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, development and management of the Financial Analysis department. The incumbent will be a dynamic and high performing leader for the department. This role leads a team of finance professionals focused on creating value in partnership with the Endeavor business units through the development of meaningful and innovative analyses to optimize financial and operational performance.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting Endeavor for all financial planning and analysis activities.

Works closely with Managing Director, Finance & Accounting, other division leaders and counterparts at Delta Air Lines to identify emerging trends and opportunities to support the ongoing transformation of the organization.

Leverages finance and operational data to enable insight-driven decisions through joint solutioning. Communicates conclusions and recommendations to senior leadership. Project managing approved initiatives through execution and tracking.

Makes recommendations and presentations to senior leadership regarding all financial and strategic activities for the business unit resulting in cost savings, productivity improvements, and/or investment opportunities.

Effectively integrates across diverse audiences, navigates ambiguity with ease, and supports multiple business strategies.

Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.

Proficiency in managing interactions with others with confidence, including the ability to influence others, lead a team effectively, and build values-based relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Direct financial analysis and report generation activities to meet reporting requirements, provide timely, meaningful reporting of operations and plan for the financial needs of the company.

Oversee development of company-wide budget.

Oversee all financial forecasting, variance reporting and analysis on a company-wide basis.

Manage department activities to ensure business objectives are met on time, within budget and with maximum accuracy and quality.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Leads a team of financial analysts (3 – 5 FTE)

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field plus 5-10 years of experience in Finance or related field with 3 – 5 years of experience leading a finance department, or similar experience required.
- Experience with financial modeling, with increasing responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, drive for results, industry knowledge, and strategic agility.

Experience with finance tools such as SAP, Smartview as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Work, etc.) preferred.

Experience with and comfortable with presenting to Senior Leadership.

Must be able to work with highly confidential information, minimal supervision and under strict deadlines and on multiple projects concurrently.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Can involve long periods of sitting. Computer work, in a typical office environment, subject to critical deadlines.

Travel requirement depending on need may be up to twice a month.

FLSA Status: Salary Minimum Position Pay Range: USD $115,000.00/Yr. Maximum Position Pay Range: USD $150,000.00/Yr.
