Overview:
The Manager / Senior Manager, Operations Analytics and Performance is responsible for leading the OAP group on projects encompassing numerous aspects of the Endeavor operation and other industry focused analyses. The role requires the ability to convert large amounts of data into meaningful, useful results, while recognizing and resolving key issues for presentation to Delta Connection and Endeavor’s executive leadership. In addition, the Manager / Senior Manager provides reporting and analysis to assist management in making critical business decisions. This position will be filled as a Manager or Senior Manager depending on candidate qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- The individual will need to quickly learn potentially unfamiliar topics, drive multi-disciplinary project teams to results, manage priorities to ensure project deadlines are met, and establish and maintain relationships with peers at Endeavor and Delta

Responsible for positively leading a team of analysts on projects and day to day work assignments.

Ensure accuracy of data records through periodic audits of data warehouse.
- Develop data mining queries from system databases and statistical data models for comprehensive analysis.
- Perform data analysis and distribution to provide Company employees with essential performance data.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting for the Managing Director Crew Scheduling, Operational Experience (OE) Scheduling, IT & Operational Analytics, senior management, Delta, and other company departments and employees.
- Provide accurate historical performance trends and forecasts to other operating divisions. Support Department of Transportation (DOT) reporting responsibilities through coordination with Delta, data validation, and DOT report creation.
- Create and train others on automating processes where applicable for data extraction, report processing, and distribution through SAS, Excel or other available programs.
- Collaborate with Delta and Endeavor senior leadership to create and monitor divisional and base performance goals, KPIs, and overall scorecards.
- Train or provide training and resources for employees on new programs or tools with which they may be unfamiliar.

Keep on top of new tools/programs that may be available to help enhance the department’s automation progress.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a business-related field.
- 2- 4 years of experience working in an analyst role.

Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
- Airline industry or operational experience is strongly preferred.

Strong ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively to meet given time parameters

Strong business acumen and experience working with all levels of an organization.

Strong interpersonal skills with focus on communication and problem resolution.

Strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated with a positive attitude. Advanced experience with the following: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel/VBA, Hyperion, and SAS/SQL. Python, Tableau, and Power BI preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Travel as necessary.

- Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.

FLSA Status: Salary Minimum Position Pay Range: USD $70,000.00/Yr. Maximum Position Pay Range: USD $95,000.00/Yr.
