Director, Global Payroll

Job Description

Tradeweb is seeking an experienced Director of Global Payroll to join the Global Compensation and Payroll team. This is an exciting new role that will partner with HR, Finance, and other relevant functions to lead global payroll transformation initiatives while managing current team and administrative payroll operations. This role is a hybrid role based out of New York. The successful person will be a key strategy maker for global payroll solutions, analytical, and self-driven to exceed project requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead a global payroll solution implementation and transform the function to a managed services model.
• Understand current operations and identify areas of opportunity and incorporate automation within existing process
• Create positive relationships with Finance, HRIT, HRBP’s and other key functions to ensure holistic delivery of payroll outcomes.
• Create scalable infrastructure and consistency for global payroll processes and reporting through automation
• Prepare and execute UAT and parallel testing for various payroll projects including implementation and optimization of new or existing payroll-related systems
• Assist with providing direction, training, and coaching to payroll team members
• Support payroll tax and regulatory reporting requirements across multiple international jurisdictions
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Manage all internal and external integrations, investigate data feed issues and implement on-going reconciliation processes
• Lead technical solutions and collaborate with Oracle consultants/team members to streamline reporting between HR and Finance
• Oversee current/future state business as usual activities and manage payroll specialists team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working within global professional services.
• Sound working knowledge of managing complex, global payrolls.
• Experience with global payroll system such as ADP or Cloudpay.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience in international/expat payrolls and equity compensation
• Comfortable ensuring service levels are met whilst maintaining strong relationships and an accurate payroll function.
• Understanding of payroll and tax withholding compliance obligations
• Multi-country transformation and International cross-time zone working experience (statutory, regulatory, and cultural).

• The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $140,000 to $250,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
