Bumble is seeking a strategic and creative Director - HRBP, to join our fast-growing, global team. This role will work cross-functionally to maintain our culture as we scale. The Director - HRBP will play a pivotal role protecting and championing Bumble’s unique culture that has been foundational to our success thus far. This position will support our rapid growth by devising processes and implementing systems to cultivate positive experiences for our team throughout the employee experience. This position will be an important member of the HRBP leadership team and a hands on thought leader for our People Teams.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Passionately preserve and build upon Bumble’s authentic, kind, and empowered culture as we scale internationally
Support the overall People strategy that aligns strongly with Bumble’s mission and values
Create and implement people-centric strategies, processes, and systems throughout the organization to build and maintain culture across our global team
Participate in strategic decision-making and communicate important information across the company
Support ongoing development opportunities for employees and managers through training, programming, performance management, coaching, career path definition, competencies, etc.
Develop key metrics to measure employee engagement, performance and retention
Support all levels of the organization as a “coach”
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures around performance management, professional growth & development, recruiting and onboarding, diversity and inclusion and employee relations
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
12+ years leading People/Culture teams in high-growth companies
Experience maintaining strong, positive and impactful company culture during times of rapid growth
Background mentoring and developing HRBP’s that deliver an exceptional employee experience
Track record of success collaborating with internal business partners to develop and integrate of forward-thinking People strategies, systems, programs and processes aligned with Bumble business objectives
Excellent interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence: must be capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with employees and influencing, facilitating and coaching individuals at all levels of the organization
Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight timelines, and multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
Strong problem solving skills and analytical ability; experience with process design or process improvement strongly preferred
Extremely organized and well-versed in project management
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all employment related aspects of the organization, across local, state, national and international standards
Experience working for a global organization
