The Director, People Operations plays an integral role in leading Suzy’s people strategies and talent management efforts. In partnership with the Chief People Officer, you will help lead compensation, benefits, DE&I initiatives, people operations and employee engagement. You will report to the Chief People Officer and lead People Business Partner and People Operations team.
Responsibilities:

Continually analyze and refine Suzy’s compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.

Ensure our benefit programs are competitive, cost-effective, and compliant.

Partner with Finance on the bi-annual compensation review and annual bonus program.

Lead annual benefits renewal and open enrollment.

Ensure data integrity within our HRIS system.

Partner closely with the Chief People Officer and Finance to define compensation budget and annual performance targets.

Stay updated with market trends, external compensation benchmarks, and pay equity.

Manage the performance of benefits and wellness programs, policies, plans, and processes.

Keep People Team, leadership, and employees informed of pay and benefit related legislation and requirements.

Lead the management of relationships with brokers, vendors, and consultants.
Organizational Development:

Encourage a culture of inclusion, respect, and empathy, promoting a diverse working environment.

Work with the Chief People Officer on initiatives to implement strategies to improve inclusion and diversity.

Partner with leadership to define operational efficiencies and procedures to achieve company and team objectives.

Assist Chief People Officer with strategies for aspirational talent and org structure to support Suzy’s growth objectives.
People Operations:

Stay current on employment law to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws.

Develop and communicate policies and procedures, maintaining the Employee Handbook and updating it as necessary.

Facilitate and investigate employee-related complaints, making recommendations for resolution in partnership with leadership.

Lead and develop the People Operations Team, keeping them informed of company activity, decisions, and priorities.

Partner with IT Compliance on the yearly SOC/ISO audits

Handle immigration processes related to new hires and current employees

Lead systems implementations and updates
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience as a people leader in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.

Experience leading a team

Strong communication skills and the ability to build robust relationships across the company.

Proven ability to work with self-direction and flexibility, with a keen eye for prioritizing and problem-solving.

The target base compensation for this role is $148,750 - $200,000/yr
