The Opportunity 

Are you a compelling storyteller to both business and technical audiences? Have you built and scaled marketing or GTM teams? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy leading cross-functional teams? If so, then we want to talk to you!

 

We are searching for a Marketing leader to own Datadog’s messaging and go-to-market strategy by industry vertical and technical solution area, in support of driving new logo acquisition and expansion within existing clients. This is a highly strategic role that will play a critical part in driving Datadog’s next chapter of growth.

 

You Will:

  • Work cross-functionally with Datadog Product, Marketing and Sales leadership to align on company GTM focus areas by identifying the highest opportunity use cases by industry segment and solution area
  • Own Datadog’s messaging and positioning across focus industries and solution area
  • Lead the build out of Enterprise-specific sales plays targeted to Director+ personas by building out campaign content assets, customer-facing selling assets and internal sales enablement materials
  • Partner with Datadog’s Marketing teams to build and execute integrated marketing campaigns focused on these sales plays to generate New Business Meetings
  • Build and hire a diverse and talented team of marketers in H1 2022

You Are:

  • Experienced in 10+ years of product or solutions marketing
  • Someone who has built and scaled diverse and successful marketing teams, with proven examples of coaching and promoting talent from your team
  • Hands-on in building both business and technology narratives within the enterprise technology landscape e.g. API Management, APM, Cloud Security, DevOps etc.
  • Able to lead through influence by establishing strong, collaborative relationships across executive, product and marketing leaders
  • Compelling in your written and oral communication and storytelling skills

  • Comfortable speaking to modern technology trends, such as cloud computing, digital transformation and Agile/DevOps processes
