This role reports to the Vice President of Commercial and Global Service. This role will lead, provide direction, and oversee the technology and the team of approximately 12 people to support the US Commercial business. This will be a pivotal role in the ongoing evolution to drive and improve strategy to enable and deliver consistently with quality through technology.

This role must be able to look across the ecosystem and various IT areas to prioritize and deliver IT solutions that will drive and support the business. They must have the ability to clearly convey appropriate points to all levels and with impact to the business, including conflicting priorities that would require them to drive clarity and consensus since it may mean their requests are not delivered in the timeframe they desire. They must be able to manage ambiguity and still drive results through grey areas. This role will be accountable for the performance of the team. They must be willing to have brave conversations and demonstrate managerial courage to always do the right thing, which may not always be the popular decision. This role will drive and ensure cross functional global team collaboration through partnership with business leaders, which will ensure success of deliverables. This role is also responsible for developing a strong strategic partnership and becoming a trusted advisor to the business. This position drives best practices for optimizing implementation, ongoing operation costs and improving system performance. They are responsible for collaborating with partners and stakeholders across the Company and must be an outstanding communicator in both oral and written forms, conveying technically complex information and concepts in easily understood terms to business stakeholders. This role must think strategically, critically, and creatively to present optimal solutions across the Company’s technology stack.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT Commercial team of approximately 12 IT professionals to meet/exceed Hologic’s expectations for productivity, quality, and achievement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to IT Commercial team to achieve secure, reliable, and cost-effective operations of Commercial applications.
  • Consciously create a workplace culture that emphasizes the mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of Hologic.
  • Create a culture of IT professionals focused on deep business alignment, accountability for outcomes, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive transformational change and innovation while balancing business, infrastructure, and technology needs.
  • Demonstrate a management style that encourages mentorship, teamwork, participation, communication, and service orientation. Empower the Commercial team to succeed, assist in removing roadblocks, and coach the team to high levels of performance.
  • Ensure key business strategies and processes are supported by technology systems that enable growth and flexibility.
  • Provide business process guidance, technology solutions and on-going operational support in the Commercial functional area.
  • Ability to refine and drive vision and strategy for Commercial business.
  • Partner with IT security to ensure the Commercial team is delivering secure, compliant solutions.
  • Partner with the business to establish priorities; provide guidance; assist with developing business cases to support technology and transformation investments.
  • In partnership with the business, drive and deliver against business roadmap through active feedback from business partners.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies in & outside the Salesforce ecosystem; educate business partners on what is possible via technology.
  • Support the business in developing the messaging to communicate business value of the solutions enabled and delivered.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant Information Technology experience

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 15 year’s experience in the IT area supporting enterprise-scale business applications.
  • Understanding of Commercial technologies, integration principles and business process areas
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills to build solid business partnerships.
  • Superior communication skills, oral and written; the ability to convey technically complex information and concepts in easily understood terms.
  • Proven demonstration of leadership capabilities, including development of next generation IT talent.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Superb organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and complete work in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit professional behavior and ability to promote positive working relationships.
  • Ability to manage time and workload on multiple projects/initiatives; adapts to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with strong communication, collaboration, and active listening skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and process-oriented mindset
  • Ability to respectfully challenge the status quo, and influence others to achieve results.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $260,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
