Role Overview:
The Director of Market Solutions leads the GTM of the technology solutions that address the needs of the Media Enterprise and News segments within the Video & Media Business Unit. You are responsible for defining and executing the company's market strategy and ensuring the successful launch and adoption of new solutions. You bring deep subject matter expertise of enterprise, local and sports news broadcaster, Film Studio and OTT business and technology needs including asset management, storage and cloud services for media. The customer is always at the core of your strategies with market dynamics as your sightline for growth. In this role, you will not only partner with, but guide the cross-functional team, from product through commercial, in effective end-to-end product delivery to market. The ideal candidate has strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to manage a small team dedicated and focused on the products within the video business unit, an understanding of the partner ecosystem available to augment the solution offerings and experience driving both customer retention and acquisition revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the BU product/solutions and market strategy for Media Enterprise and News markets.

Conduct market research and customer engagement to understand customer needs and requirements to define and prioritize product development initiatives that align with the company's market strategy.

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the company's product and market strategy.

Analyze Serviceable Available Market (SAM)/Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) and historical business results to identify opportunities for new solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, sales, services, customer success and marketing to bring new solutions to market that drive customer retention and acquisition annual revenue goals and establish foundation for continued growth.

Identify, develop, and enable internal and external stakeholders on key value positioning and messaging with competitive differentiation by ICP and personas for effective commercial engagement and B2B buyer’s journey interaction.

Partner with Marketing and Customer Success to develop omnichannel demand generation and customer adoption programs supported by a multi-pronged content strategy.

Maintain relationships and establish presence as a thought-leader with key customers, partners, and industry organizations at onsite and virtual events to drive adoption and expand the company's presence in the media market.

Partner with corporate communications to develop PR and organic social strategies that present Avid as a thought-leader within the space and leverage product delivery for consistent storytelling opportunities.

Drive strategy and messaging for major industry events that elevates Avid presence and drives measurable demand generation results.
Who are you:

Leader with a passion for the media and entertainment industry

10+ years of experience in product marketing with a history of developing marketing strategies for solutions within the Media space.

Experienced collaborating and leading within a complex matrixed organization partnering with sales, customer success, marketing, product management, and operations to achieve shared revenue goals.

Strong understanding of the competitive landscape, technology ecosystem and cloud service providers, their platforms and services, and how that relates to deploying production in the cloud.

Diligent at learning and communicating progress towards targeted business results, identifying obstacles and associated remediation plans

Adaptable and flexible, able to work and thrive in a highly dynamic environment
