Targeted Salary Range: $58,000-$64,000
Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties:
Provide leadership and coordination among various organizations and communities that are connected to the discipline of Native American Studies. Through grant writing, collaboration, and active leadership, develop and lead service learning opportunities that strengthen student engagement, interaction, and reciprocity with Indigenous communities.

Three years of leadership experience working with diverse populations.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Demonstrated knowledge of Great Lakes tribal citizens and tribal communities.
Effective collaboration with tribal citizens and tribal communities.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and apply critical thinking skills to solve problems.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Proven experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher, presentation software.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Terminal degree (e.g., MSW, MFA, Ph.D., Ed.D.) from an accredited institution.
Demonstrated knowledge of Native American Studies as a holistic discipline.
Advanced knowledge of higher education assessment.
Experience in public and media relations, graphic design skills, website design and content management skills.
Demonstrated creativity with using new media and social media technologies.
