Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties:
Under general supervision, perform various clerical and administrative duties. Interact with Student Support Services program participants and campus community. Provide necessary information/explain program regulations to students/campus community to help ensure college and federal regulatory compliance. Responsible for entry and maintenance of project records/data/forms.

Required Minimum Work Experience:
Five years' progressive office work experience or Bachelor's Degree.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Ability to accurately and efficiently perform and maintain required computerized tasks to include any combination of word processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail or web-based applications.
Strong customer service skills both in person and through phone and e-mail.
Ability to work with diverse populations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Well-developed organizational skills.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions.
Ability to work as a contributing member of a team.
Ability to work independently.
Comprehensive knowledge of University procedures; and ability/willingness to learn TRIO regulations and procedures.
Willingness to learn office software including web page design and maintenance; willingness to remain current with/maintain social media applications.
Ability to troubleshoot database problems.
Capable of running the SSS project office smoothly without supervision or direction; ability to resolve emerging needs of students via walk-in, email, or phone.
Proven effectiveness with highly detailed office procedures.

Experience working in, or being part of, TRIO or similar education opportunity programs.
Bachelor's Degree.
