The Dir, Business Integration & Enablement reports to the VP of Agribusiness, and will sit on the Agribusiness Leadership team. The ideal candidate will be based in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Director of Business Integration & Enablement supports the Agribusiness Leadership Team and understands the bigger picture of the TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods business. It brings best-in-class business integration strategy to execute and influence business decisions, outcomes, and results.

Here's How:

  • Leadership:
    • This leader must be comfortable managing the chaos by serving as the principal day-to-day point of contact for all things related to integration, and establishing the overall integration process design, mechanics and protocols to be followed by all participants and executives.
    • Influence others at multiple levels, initiative, drive, and structured analytical thinking.
    • Accelerate the process by helping the leadership staff manage the pace and momentum of the integration, and pushing for timely decisions on key issues and providing true accountability for action items and deadlines.
    • Demonstrate exceptional courage to tackle difficult issues with optimism and confidence. Share sensitive or unpopular messages in a motivating manner and with logical analysis, despite dissent.
    • Define and manage project priorities in line with TAC's strategy by continuously providing focus and direction on what matters most, and searching for and highlighting best practices or potential disconnects that could destroy value or create risk.

  • Impact:
    • Personally drive change by being directly and principally involved in the subject matter of major issues so that this role helps manage the “white space” and dependencies by identifying issues, and then coordinating and communicating resolutions to all involved.
    • Manage portfolio of multiple integration projects to ensure on-time delivery within budget, achieve key outcomes, no customer disruption, and exceptional change management for impacted team members. Enable decisions when trade-offs are required between the various stakeholders.
    • Establish and align objectives for each integration success. Coordinate designing detailed integration plans and resources requirements across all teams and stakeholders. Accelerate workstreams, lead cross-workstream projects, drive alignment on dependencies as needed. Monitor implementation, calendar, milestones, reviews. Build strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
    • Identify and address integration risks and issues. Capture and prioritize issues and drive effective resolutions. Resolve conflicts. Coordinate change management.
    • Ensures business continuity and supports business momentum by building repeatable,sustainable structures and processes that scale actress the business unit today and for future acquisitions. Design and implement best-in-class post-acquisition integration across the Agribusiness BU.
    • Identify and track key post-acquisition integration KPIs to track and measure the success relative to key value drivers. Proposed KPIs including: financial metrics, operational metrics, cross-sell metrics, cost savings goals, customer churn, team engagement, and attainment of key milestones.
    • Lead post-acquisition integration on all future acquisitions to quickly realize the value of such investments and fulfill our strategic imperative to go to market as one team, under one brand, executing a single strategy.

  • Expertise:
    • Talented in setting aggressive goals and having high standards. Pursue everything with high operational rigor, energy, drive, and the need to finish.
    • Be the expert on architecture, design, and planning to integration implementation and operations.
    • Maneuvers comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics. Navigates the complexities of the organization easily and use knowledge of organizational culture to achieve objectives.

What you bring to this role:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Management, Engineering, or Finance.
  • Seven or more years in a business integration and project management role/capacity (preferably including Big 4 consulting firm experience), delivering complex initiatives with high cross-functional dependencies.
  • Proven expertise in developing effective, matrixed, cross-organization relationships, collaborating and communicating across business and technology stakeholders and multiple geographies.
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, self-direct, and follow through with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for risk identification and mitigation.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Ability to influence both peers and leaders, to build consensus while dealing with ambiguity, and make or delegate decisions when necessary.
  • Able to independently make decisions with urgency and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Quick learner with new subject matter relative to the systems and the business.
  • Highly effective in ambiguous, complex environments.
  • Willingness to travel as required and work outside of normal business hours
  • PMP designation or equivalent certification would be considered an asset
  • Proficient Excel, PowerPoint skills and experience working with ERP systems
