Job Description: Director of Business Operations – Americas

We are searching for you, a person with a breadth and depth of Operations experience – a leader that has supported Sales Operations & GTM for high velocity, high growth B2B Americas sales organization. You will be the go-to resource for our AMS sales organization and sales leadership team supporting planning, forecasting, order management & delivering and governing the key KPIs for the sales organization. You can point to specifics roles in your past where you have been part of, or led Sales, or Business or Revenue operations functions in SaaS or high-tech companies. We are looking for someone with specific expertise supporting our Americas sales leadership but are also interested in how you have worked cross functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, Channels & Customer Success teams (all things GTM).

You will report into the VP of Business Operations (based in San Jose/SF Bay area). Vectra’s Business Operations team is responsible for providing operational support on our GTM tech stack, tools, process development & enhancement, order administration & all things sales operations. You will be on the ground level supporting our continuing work in building world class operations best practices that will enable increased productivity in our GTM organization, with scalable & predicable growth for the company. While we would prefer that you be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, we are open to hiring the right candidate anywhere in the continental US.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Be the go-to person for the CRO and Sales leadership team that they can trust to develop strategy and operationalize it
  • Support the development and tracking of the KPIs for the business and define the Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for the sales teams
  • Support & manage weekly cadence of sales forecasting to ensure a high level of accuracy and pipeline quality
  • Provide day to day quoting support (ultimate case work in Salesforce CPQ), order operations, & order processing efforts for the company – our order management staff
  • Drive a portfolio of high impact, cross functional initiatives to improve the visibility of key data or increase the productivity of the sales teams
  • Support ideal customer profile and segmentation efforts for the business to align resources for the greatest return to the business
  • Support territory planning for the regions
  • Support the development and execution of the annual sales operating plan
  • Proactively manage rules of engagement – company revenue sharing/split policy

Experience, qualities, and skills we are looking for:

  • 8-12+ years of experience in Strategy & Business, Sales, or Revenue Operations, supporting direct, indirect/overlay, and/or channel sales
  • Passion for solving complex problems with the willingness to be hands on with the team
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to analyze data, determine insights and develop programs to drive productivity and efficiencies
  • Expert program management experience with a track record of delivering transformational results across a complex portfolio of projects
  • Strong operational background, directly performing or leading day-to-day business operations
  • Strong organizational development, communication, and leadership skills
  • Familiar with a variety of sales team structures (inside, field, channel), customer segments (mid-market/commercial and enterprise)
  • Must be expert level on SFDC, Excel
  • Salesforce CPQ, Clari, Tableau (or equivalent) expertise
  • Must have SaaS, Security, Networking, Telephony or other B2B High-Tech experience
  • An exceptional writer and spoken communicator

Vectra Total Rewards

Our competitive total rewards package includes cash compensation within the following range: Base Pay $133,400 - $257,800. Actual pay for this position may vary based on the hired candidate’s location, experience and relevant incumbent pay position.

Employees (and their dependents) are covered by a variety of competitive health and wellness benefits, like medical, dental and vision. Employees are also able to enroll in financial security benefits, like life and accident insurance, disability coverage, and Vectra’s 401(k) plan.

Employees receive flexible paid time off (PTO), which does not accrue and fourteen paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for paid sick leave under the Flexible PTO program. Should sick leave exceed 7 consecutive days, employees are eligible to receive up to 100% of their base pay for the first 10 weeks of qualified sick leave/disability.
